Keeping birds in fan apartment completely excludes an opportunity of infection. The virus of the bird's flu is spread by water kinds of birds. Therefore the forage cannot serve as a transmitting agent of disease. It is necessary to say that some kind of environment (faecal matter, water) is necessary for the transmitting of the virus otherwise it inactivates fast.
If there are doubts make the analysis of feces on a virus of bird's flu. Also you can vaccinate your domestic birds. But I, for example, won't vaccinate my birds.
